AI Face Swap for Photos: New Face, Same Light, Same Pose
Got a photo you love but want a different face in it? Two uploads handle that. The source image provides the body, pose and scene that stay in place, and the target face is what goes in. Face Swap leaves the source’s composition and lighting as they were, so the new face matches the light and angle of everything around it.
Only still photos are supported, not video. The face must be one you have a right to use: yours, a fictional or AI-generated one, or that of a real person who has agreed. Using anyone’s face without their consent is not allowed.
Swapping a face in a photo
Start with the source
This is the base picture: the result inherits its body, pose, background and light. Send a JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP file of up to 50 MB.
Add the target face
Now add the face you want to see in the source. Hands, hair or sunglasses across it hurt the result, so go for one that is sharp, evenly lit and uncovered.
Set size and ratio
2K costs 12 credits and 4K costs 15. Aspect ratios on offer are 1:1, 3:4, 4:3, 16:9 and 9:16.
Swap and check
The Swap Face button shows the price before you commit, and a failed swap gets refunded. The image usually arrives within a few seconds. Look closely at the hairline and any glasses frames, then download.
Model and output options
Face Swap
The face-replacement model this page runs on. Your source image takes on the target face while its composition, lighting and pose stay untouched. Photos only.
2K, 12 credits
Plenty for anything viewed on a screen, such as a social post or a profile picture.
4K, 15 credits
Pick this when you plan to print or crop in. For anything larger, Image Upscale enlarges a finished swap up to 8K.

Faces you may use
- Yours, whatever scene you put it in.
- A fictional or AI-generated face, such as a character you made in the Image Lab.
- The face of a real person who has consented to its use.
- No one else. A celebrity, a coworker, a stranger from a photo online: without consent, their face is off limits. Sexual or intimate images of real people are not allowed, and anything involving minors is prohibited.
Good uses for Face Swap
- Stepping into a staged shot yourself: a noir film still, a vintage studio portrait, a beach backdrop.
- Holding an AI character’s face steady from one image in a series to the next.
- Seeing a new look or outfit on yourself before committing.
- Redoing a look from the Templates gallery with your own face.

Face Swap FAQ
Which faces can I use?
Yours, one that is fictional or AI-generated, or that of a real person who has consented. Anyone else’s face without their consent is not allowed, and sexual or intimate images of real people are never permitted.
What does a face swap cost in credits?
At 2K it is 12 credits, at 4K 15, and the Swap Face button displays the figure up front. During the beta a new account’s 50 free credits are enough for 4 swaps at 2K.
Does face swap work on video?
No, this tool is for photos only. If you want a moving character, try Character Swap: rather than editing existing footage, it animates a character image using a reference video’s motion.
How do I get a natural-looking swap?
Begin with a source image that shows the face clearly and a sharp, well-lit target face. Since lighting and pose follow the source, pick it based on the final scene you have in mind.
Where do my uploaded photos go?
They are processed by SpicyHub AI and the AI provider running the model, held temporarily during generation, and may be retained for service improvement. Ownership stays with you and you can request deletion at any time; see the Privacy Policy.
Are swaps flagged as AI-generated?
Not reliably. SpicyHub AI adds no visible mark and doesn’t guarantee an AI label inside the file, so say it is AI-made wherever you post it. The Terms make you responsible for getting consent for the faces you upload and for how you use the result.
