Beta: 50 free credits on every model

Adults only (18+)

Character Card Art for SillyTavern, JanitorAI and Chub Bots: Adult OC Portraits and Sprites

If you build roleplay bots for SillyTavern, JanitorAI or Chub, SpicyHub AI handles the art side of the card: a portrait for the avatar, a set of expression sprites that all share one face, and 18+ variants of the same original adult character for the places that allow them. It makes images only; the card text and the chat stay in your own tools.

Each sprite costs 6 credits on Wan 2.7 Image, and all of them start from one reference portrait so every expression stays on-model. Each platform treats avatar art differently, so the rules that matter are summed up below, as checked in November 2026.

SpicyHub AI is an independent service with no ties to the companies or products this page names; those names are trademarks of their owners.

Adults 18+ only. Every character you make has to be an adult: one you invented, or a real adult who agreed to it. Minors are never allowed, in any art style. The Terms of Service set out the full rules.

What each platform does with your art

Where the picture shows up decides what it may show:

PlatformWhere the art appearsImage rulesWhat to make
SillyTavernThe card is a PNG: its picture is the avatar and the character data travels inside the same file. Expression sprites appear beside the chat, or center screen in Visual Novel mode.It is software you run yourself, so no platform reviews what you load; the law and your chat model provider’s terms still apply.Portrait, sprite set, and 18+ variants if you want them
JanitorAIAvatar and thumbnail on the public character pageIts Image Guidelines (last updated June 18, 2026) rule out nudity, full or partial, and sexual acts shown or implied, and censor bars don’t make such an image acceptable. Characters must clearly look adult. A rule-breaking avatar is swapped for a placeholder once; uploading another gets the character removed.A clothed, non-sexual portrait only
ChubAvatar on the character page; each character carries an SFW or NSFW ratingIts creation guide allows any avatar picture but asks creators to avoid NSFW ones where they can, citing payment processors, and to rate characters accurately.A clothed portrait and an honest rating

Rules change, so read each platform’s current page before uploading. This table is a summary, not their policy.

The portrait: framing that survives every crop

An avatar is shown large on the card and tiny in chat lists, often cropped to a square or a circle. Frame for both: head and shoulders in the upper half, eyes about a third of the way down, and a plain or softly blurred background that doesn’t compete with the face at thumbnail size.

Generate it in a portrait shape: 3:4, 9:16, 2:3 or 1:2 on Spicy UNCENSORED, or 4:5 or 9:16 on Wan 2.7 Image. Make this master version at 2K on Spicy UNCENSORED (12 credits); every sprite and variant will be made from it.

An example to adapt: “Head-and-shoulders portrait of Mireille, a 34-year-old airship navigator with cropped copper hair, freckles and a navy greatcoat, three-quarter view, confident half-smile, soft studio light, plain slate background, clean anime lineart, cel shading.”

Expression sprites: how many, and what they cost

SillyTavern’s Character Expressions extension changes the sprite to match the mood of each reply. Its built-in local classifier sorts replies into 28 labels by default, and a 6-label model is the alternative. Each sprite file is named after its label, for example joy.png, with joy-1.png and so on for extra versions, and a fallback setting covers any label you haven’t drawn.

The 28 default labels: admiration, amusement, anger, annoyance, approval, caring, confusion, curiosity, desire, disappointment, disapproval, disgust, embarrassment, excitement, fear, gratitude, grief, joy, love, nervousness, optimism, pride, realization, relief, remorse, sadness, surprise, neutral.

Add 12 credits for the 2K master portrait, and a complete 28-sprite set with transparent cutouts comes to 292 credits. During the beta, the 50 sign-up credits cover the master portrait and 6 sprites, enough to see whether the face holds before you batch the rest.

Keeping one face across 28 sprites

Make every sprite from the master portrait, never from the previous sprite: copies of copies drift. Upload the master as the reference, keep the framing words identical in every prompt, and change only the expression.

A template for Wan 2.7 Image with the master uploaded: “The character in the uploaded image, same face, hair, outfit and framing, plain slate background, expression: quiet amusement, eyes narrowed, one corner of the mouth raised.”

Write each expression as something visible on the face, not just the name of a mood. The classifier picks the label; your prompt has to make it readable at avatar size:

  • joy: wide smile, eyes creased almost shut
  • nervousness: glancing sideways, biting the lower lip
  • realization: eyebrows up, lips parted, a frozen half-second
  • annoyance: flat stare, one eyebrow lowered, mouth pressed thin
  • embarrassment: flushed cheeks, eyes down, a hand at the back of the neck
  • neutral: relaxed face, mouth closed, looking straight ahead

If a sprite drifts off-model, generate it again from the master rather than editing the drifted one; at 6 credits, a fresh run is cheaper than a chain of fixes.

Transparent sprites for Visual Novel mode

Most sprite packs are PNGs with a transparent background, so the character stands over whatever background the chat uses. Generate every sprite on the same flat, plain background, then cut each one out with the Background Remover for 4 credits an image. Keep that step to the clothed set: the remover is one of the studio’s general tools, not one of the 18+ models.

For a pack, put the files in one ZIP with no folders inside, each named after its label. SillyTavern’s sprite-pack upload adds them to the selected character, and it doesn’t rename files to fit the labels, so get the names right first.

18+ variants of the same character

For adult art of your bot’s character, switch to the Spicy models and upload the master portrait as Figure 1: Spicy UNCENSORED for finished 2K pieces, Wan 2.7 Image for quick variations. This art belongs in a local SillyTavern setup or a gallery you control; JanitorAI’s avatar rules exclude it, and Chub asks for a clothed avatar where possible.

The character must be an original adult, in stated age and in appearance. Bots based on characters from existing anime, games or novels are common on these platforms, but those characters belong to their creators, and the Terms don’t allow adult art of them. The hentai generator guide covers adult anime styles and a character brief that keeps the age clear.

Putting the art into the card

SpicyHub AI produces plain image files and doesn’t write card data. Do that in your card editor: in SillyTavern, set the new portrait as the character’s avatar and export the card, and the exported PNG carries the character data inside the image file.

Avoid opening that exported card in an image editor afterwards. Re-saving can strip the embedded data and leave you with a picture and no character.

Questions people ask

Can I make card art of an existing anime or game character?

No. Characters from existing series belong to their creators, and the Terms don’t allow adult art of them. Design an original adult character and give the bot that face.

Will JanitorAI accept an 18+ avatar?

No. As of November 2026, its Image Guidelines (last updated June 18, 2026) rule out nudity, full or partial, and sexual acts shown or implied, and censoring such an image doesn’t make it acceptable. Upload a clothed portrait.

Does SpicyHub AI export a finished character card?

No. It makes the images. Your card editor, such as SillyTavern’s, writes the character data into the PNG when you export the card.

Do I need all 28 sprites?

No. SillyTavern lets you choose a fallback expression, or show nothing, for labels without a sprite. Neutral plus a handful of strong emotions is a practical start; the 6-label model needs only 6 sprites.

What does a complete set cost?

A 2K master portrait (12 credits), 28 sprites on Wan 2.7 Image (168) and a transparent cutout of each (112) come to 292 credits. Without cutouts it is 180.

Can SpicyHub AI chat as my character?

No. The studio stops at pictures and short clips; there is no chat and no voice. The bot itself runs on SillyTavern, JanitorAI, Chub or whichever platform you use.

SpicyHub AI’s 18+ rules in brief

  • You need to be an adult under your own country’s law, never under 18, and the content has to be legal where you are.
  • Every character is an adult, both by stated age and by how they look. Drawn and animated characters follow the same rule as photos.
  • No sexual content involving a minor or a character who could pass for one. Accounts that try are closed and reported to the authorities.
  • A recognizable real person appears only with their documented consent. That rules out celebrities, creators, coworkers and former partners. In a character swap, no real person goes in as the character, you included.
  • No sexual violence, no lack of consent and no bestiality, even as fiction.
  • Existing characters from anime, manga, games and film are someone else’s property, so create your own.
  • Your results stay private to your account until you share them. What you post elsewhere is yours to answer for, under the law and that site’s rules.

A short version only. The binding rules are in the Terms of Service.

During the beta, signing up adds 50 free credits that work on any model: 8 drafts on Wan 2.7 Image, say, or a 480p clip with sound up to 6 seconds long. Room to test a character before you decide anything.
